Neapolitan Mastiff

The Neapolitan Mastiff is a majestic breed that carries a rich history dating back to ancient Rome, where they were revered as guardians and companions. As a potential owner, you will find that these gentle giants are known for their affectionate and loyal demeanor, making them a wonderful addition to a family setting. While they can be quite imposing in appearance, their love for young children is heartwarming, and they tend to be moderately good with other dogs and even cats, provided they are properly socialized.

Known for their lower energy levels, Neapolitan Mastiffs are perfect for families who enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. A daily walk or some playtime will keep them happy and healthy, but they do not require excessive exercise, making them suitable for different living situations. However, it is important to create a comfortable living space for them, as these dogs are not particularly well-suited for apartment living due to their size.

Grooming is a breeze with a Neapolitan Mastiff, as they shed moderately and only require monthly grooming sessions. Their intelligence and intermediate trainability mean that consistent and patient training can help them flourish. With their gentle temperament and affectionate nature, you will find that these dogs are quite willing to learn and bond with their families. If you are looking for a loyal companion in Petland Eastgate, Ohio, a Neapolitan Mastiff might just be the perfect fit for your home.
